How to register for the official IELTS exam
Book through an authorised test centre — here's the process.
Choose your test provider
In Uzbekistan, IELTS is delivered through authorised centres (IDP or British Council partners). Visit their official website — never book through unofficial agents promising guaranteed scores.
Select Academic or General Training
Match your purpose: university → Academic; migration/work → General Training. This cannot be changed after booking.
Pick paper or computer
Check which formats your local centre offers. Computer-delivered has more frequent dates in many cities. Book 4–8 weeks ahead during peak seasons (summer, January).
Prepare your documents
You'll need a valid passport (same ID on test day). Enter your name exactly as it appears on the passport — mismatches delay results.
