Official exam fee
IELTS fees vary by country and provider — typically $200–250 USD equivalent in Central Asia. Budget for a possible retake (multiply by 1.5–2×).
Course vs self-study costs
Group courses range widely by city and hours. Self-study is cheaper but needs discipline. Many students combine a short course with free mocks on mymockexam.uz.
Books and materials
Cambridge past papers (books 15–19) are the gold standard. One book is enough to start; pair with free online mocks for full four-module timing.
Free practice that actually helps
Student sign-up on mymockexam.uz is free. Centers assign mocks as part of courses. Use free mocks for timing practice — save paid resources for official test day.
