IELTS & CEFR
Four exam modules — Listening, Reading, Writing & Speaking
Listening (~30 min), Reading (~60 min), Writing Task 1 & 2 (~60 min) and Speaking (11–14 min). Practice one module, or sit Listening, Reading and Writing back to back with the same timers as computer-delivered IELTS. Speaking is a separate interview.
Four skills, four timers
What happens in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking
A full mock is not four separate quizzes. Listening, Reading and Writing run back to back, each with its own clock and question types. Speaking is a separate 11–14 minute interview.
Listening (~30 min) plays audio once. You answer while it plays: forms, maps, multiple choice, matching. Reading (60 min) is 40 questions — Academic uses three long texts, General Training uses everyday and workplace texts — with flags so you can return.
Writing (~60 min) is Task 1 and Task 2 with a live word count. The response is stored for an examiner. Speaking (11–14 min) follows the three-part interview; your center records or conducts it, then marks fluency, vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation.
You can sit a single module if the center assigns one, but stamina is the point of a full mock: L → R → W → S without dropping into a different website or app.
Four modules
Each skill has its own timer, question types, and scoring path. Listening, Reading and Writing run back to back; Speaking is 11–14 minutes.
~30 minModule 1
Listening
Audio recordings play once, like the real computer-delivered test. You answer as you listen — form completion, multiple choice, matching, and map or plan labelling — then the player locks the module when time ends.
~60 minModule 2
Reading
40 questions in 60 minutes. Academic uses three long texts; General Training uses everyday and workplace texts. Flag items and return before the timer ends.
~60 minModule 3
Writing
Task 1 (at least 150 words: a chart or a letter) and Task 2 (an essay of at least 250 words). Task 2 counts twice as much as Task 1.
11–14 minModule 4
Speaking
Three parts: interview, long turn, and discussion. Your center records or conducts the session, then marks fluency, vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. The score joins the other three modules in your overall result.
Listening, Reading and Writing run back to back. Speaking is a separate 11–14 minute interview.
